During the term you will be exposed to clinical and administrative information system applications, health IT issues and concepts.. For your research paper, you should identify an issue or concept associated with health information technology.
The first part of your paper should summarize factually the literature you reviewed in preparation for writing the paper. The second part of the paper should reflect your ability to think critically and creatively. Analyze what you have read, and state your own opinions and recommendations for organizations addressing this issue.
Format instructions:
The paper should be computer generated and completed in Microsoft Word, using the APA style and format (one inch margins, 12 point font, title page, abstract, page numbers, etc.) The page requirement for this research paper will be a minimum of twelve pages and be no longer than sixteen pages, including references. Cite all resources used in developing the content including web sites and other media. Submit an electronic version of your completed paper via the Canvas Assignment

Although there are many issues surrounding legal and ethical issues in health care today, we will attempt to focus on issues related to the clinical information and administrative systems that we will be investigating.
