Business and law case study assignment

The case study requires the analysis of a business. The case study comes with a set of formulas which have already been calculated which describe the business' performance in recent years. It's recent accounts are also included. The Question requires student to use various accounting ratios (already calculated) to discuss the health and performance the business. The project is a report to the owner of the business, who is about to launch an IPO. the case study is part of a law course, and so no mathematics calculations are required. All that is needed is a familiarity with the formulas used , and an ability to interpret them and explain their consequences for the client. The advice has to be in plain language and must be comprehensible to an ordinary person, rather than a person with prior knowledge of accounting. There are 2 additional questions, which you might be able to tackle if you have space, but which aren't the main priority. They ask the student to discuss the economy of a brics nation in general terms, and to discuss the plausibility of a law firm opening an office in one of those economies. If you have managed to complete the analysis of the business accounts within the pages allotted and have space left then by all means go ahead and tackle the latter two questions
