After exploring and analyzing leadership theories and practices and identifying areas for improvement, leaders need to develop a plan for clearly presenting themselves for leadership opportunities. Whether a leader is looking for a position within the current organization or planning for an external move, the quality and visual appearance of how leadership skills and abilities are presented illustrate the attention applied in the creation a leadership development plan.

Prepare a PowerPoint presentation consisting of 6–9 slides in which you present your global leadership credentials to a corporate leadership team. Complete the following:

Select a global firm in the industry (Walgreen Alliance Boots would be my choice) in which you would like to work and the leadership position for which you would like to interview.
Imagine that you have been asked to interview for the selected leadership position. Prior to flying to corporate headquarters, you receive a request from the top leadership team. The team members ask to see a written document in which you address the following:
Analyze your global leadership concerns for the future
·         Identify the global trends that you see driving a global leadership agenda. Integrate, if possible, the impact of this agenda on your industry.
·         Evaluate and link leadership development needs (using resources pertaining to leadership development) to the applicable global trends

·         Select a theory that is appropriate for professional growth and for guiding an individual global agenda.

·         Develop a clear statement validating the need for self-directed leadership preparation for a competitive, complex, and diverse workplace.
·         Analyze how leadership preparation should address each of these factors: competition, complexity, and diversity in the workplace.
Develop your plans to evolve your individual leadership skills.
·         Personal plan to support the evolving, reflective self as global leader.
o   Drawing on the context you set in outline items 1 and 2, develop a plan that supports your personal growth as a global leader. This step constitutes the main part of your plan. The plan should reflect and flow logically from the understandings developed on trends, future concerns, emerging leadership theory, and evaluation of self-directed preparation.
o   Define your development goals.
o   Detail the action steps of your plan in the order in which you intend to accomplish them.
o   Describe how each action step supports your development goals and how each of the steps relates to and builds upon one another. Be specific and concrete about the action steps you will take toward developing one or more of the Five Minds in yourself. Each action step must be clearly defined, achievable, and have measurable outcomes. Explicitly address each of these elements for each action step.
o   Describe how you will evaluate your progress for each step.
o   Include a clear statement of how the plan will support or enhance the growth of others.
Tailor your responses to reflect the particular global firm in the industry in which you would like to work and the leadership position for which you are being interviewed.
Your presentation must include speaker notes (complete sentences and paragraphs) at the bottom of the slides. Refer to Guidelines for Effective PowerPoint Presentations in the Resources for more information.

Also, note that your first slide must be a title slide and the last slide must have your references; your content should be 5–8 slides in length.

Additional Requirements
Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.
APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to APA style and formatting.
Length: No more than 9 slides with speaker notes.

Font and font size: Fonts and sizes appropriate for good visibility in a slide presentation. • Number of sources: as many as cited in the PowerPoint
